The Business Education and Training Partnership was established by the Government in November 1997 to develop national strategies to tackle the issues of skill needs, manpower forecasting and education and training. This report describes how the recommendations, arising from the First Report by the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs, have been implemented in the IT sector.
