
FÁS
Roger Fox is Director of Planning, Research and EU Affairs in FÁS, the National Training and Employment Authority. He is an economist who has considerable experience of labour market research, as well as evaluation, policy analysis and statistics on training. The Planning and Research Dept. of FÁS conducts a range of studies in relation to labour market developments and skills including national manpower forecasting, sectoral studies and individual occupational analyses. The Skills and Labour Market Research Unit, established in late 2001 specifically to undertake research for the Expert Group on Future Skills Needs, is located within the FÁS Planning and Research Department.
